Beta Malt is a malt brand of Accra Brewery Limited, the makers of Ghana’s famous Club Beer. I was contacted to photograph the traditional and digital aspects of their 2021. Like Mommy Like Me Campaign.

On set for the TVC production, my job was to get the shots based on clients directive between breaks. Try getting top-notch shots with 15 minutes at hand and a very time-conscious production assistant breathing down your neck.

Needless to say, I’d already prepared my lights and equipment to take maximum advantage of the time given. I had also jotted down different scenarios to assist my subjects in performing before my camera in addition to the references already developed. So with all that preparation beforehand, it was a cinch in achieving my client’s desired photos.

SoKlin Ghana is a brand under EuroPrima Industries Limited. In 2021 Nana Ama McBrown, Ghana’s biggest female celebrity, was signed as their brand ambassador. SoKlin has been in Ghana for 30 years and is one of the most recognised washing detergents in the country.

I was contacted to create photographic content for the traditional and digital aspect of their new campaign and it was made quite easy due to Nana Ama McBrowns phenomenal professionalism and acting chops.

Chivas Regal is a whiskey brand from Scotland owned by Pernod Ricard, the makers of alcoholic brands such as Jameson Whiskey, Beefeater Gin and Absolut Vodka.

Under the Chivas Regal brand, my client embarked on their Cocktails Of The Future campaign to educate mixologists in Ghana on the future of the art: sustainable cocktails. These are simply cocktails made with ingredients and apparatuses that are environmentally friendly.

With this campaign, my client wanted to move from the typical bartending setting and show visuals that were more steeped in the great outdoors. That called for some location scouting which I led with my team. We settled on a space our client found right for the story we were trying to tell.

A big part of photographing my subjects was making them feel as comfortable as possible seeing as they were not generally used to being in front of a camera. I was able to achieve my objective as well as produce high-quality photos, which was the directive of this particular campaign.
